A Brief History of The Gamesmen

Established in 1982 by Angelo Cusumano Snr, The Gamesmen began as a humble market stall in Sydney. Over the decades, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s most beloved family-owned gaming retailers. Our flagship store at 491 Forest Road, Penshurst, NSW, houses not only a vast selection of video games but also Australia’s largest collection of retro video games on display.

In 2011, to celebrate our 40-year history in the industry, we launched the Retro Video Game Museum. This museum showcases some of the rarest and most sought-after consoles, games, and peripherals from over 40 years of video game history. It’s a place where visitors can take a trip down memory lane and rediscover the games that shaped their childhood.
